CRASH COURSE REVISED
The Institute is pleased to inform that its crash course is revised and this format has many important modifications including extended class room teaching hours and a special case study of functioning of leading Islamic Banks in Middle East. Student will have to prepare a case study appraisal of the bank under study and present for assessment. This will offer an insight into the functioning of Islamic Banks in Middle East region.

The Institute and its Dean are approached by a large number of reputed institutions, universities and organisations to assist them in their research projects by providing valuable inputs. A few such important requests are included;

  • Ms.Neeru Gupta, (LLM – Kurukshetra University, LLB – Maharshi Dayanand University), a research scholar, pursuing her PhD from G.D.Goenka University on the topic – "Interest free banking: A study of its scope of inclusion in Indian financial sector". Currently, working as Assistant Professor in SILR (Palwal, Haryana). She has successfully completed our PGDIBF course.
  • Research team from Jadhavpur University, West Bengal, comprising Professor Mrs.Nilanjana Gupta and her Research scholar Ms.Indrani Bhattacharya were carrying out research on modernisation of Madersa education by addition of modern subjects.
  • Ms.Aparajita Verma from Tata Institute of Social Sciences – a research student from the Institute carrying out research on the topic “Islamic banking and the Muslim middle class-Identity and Mobility a holistic understanding” obtained vital inputs for her research from the Institute.
  • Mr.C.K.Rao a leading Consultant for North Africa in livestock sought professional advice from the Dean regarding Islamic Microfinance for live stock farming in North Africa. A professional team from these countries desired to arrange a Training Program for Islamic microfinance especially for livestock farming in North and Central Africa.
  • Mount Judi Ventures a pioneer in Islamic Venture Capital Fund – a management team met the Dean to seek his advice on promoting India’s first such venture as a public limited company.
